Day Eighty One 10/31/13

Spoooooooooky Halloween!!

I've had indigestion the past two sat and it's really annoying. Wasn't really hungry but made myself eat. I had two coconut creme pie bars before I dropped C off.

Breakfast:
Hash, pork, eggs and broccoli with half an avocado 
Spiced cider with creatine 

Only could eat about half of this. Saved the rest.

Today got all messed up. I was on phone calls from 12-3ish and my lunch got messed. My indigestion was off the hook too.

I had some applesauce with cinnamon. Broccoli and cauliflower. Maple almond butter. Two pieces of pepperoni.

I think that's it. I tried to make a salmon burger but messed it up and got mad. Stubborn ya know.

Dinner:
Pork belly mixed with coconut aminos, honey and garlic
Rice

Forgot the pic til we were almost done.

Had four sour patch kids and a sick mint after. It's Halloween and I didn't want to be Scrooge.

Day Eighty 10/30/13

Had two bites of my chocolate cake before I took Clyde to the bart. 

Breakfast:
1/4 cup steel cut oats with dried banana and four slices bacon 
Spiced cider with creatine 

Lunch:
Last of the leftover chili with half an avocado 

Had some maple almond butter and ugh can't think of what else before class. That may be it. Had a lot of water today.

After class, I had a banana.

Dinner:
Kung pow chicken 

Had some more maple almond butter while cooking dinner then a handful of choc chips after. While watching the Amazing Race I had some kettle corn.

Day Seventy Nine 10/29/13

Is B not posting his blog since he's so stressed with his new car? 

Also, I had a lot more commentary on the workout but I'm so tired and need to do some rolling so I'll save it for a FaceTime.

Breakfast:
Two eggs, bacon, broccoli and half an avocodo 
Spiced cider with creatine 

Had two banana bread bars to finish the batch up before lunch.

Lunch:
Chili with half an avocado

Was pretty full from that when I got home from the store so I didn't eat much before the workout. I had the last coconut creme pie bar (don't worry, I made a new batch) and some maple almond butter. Our blender is on its last leg but I really want to try to make some maple cashew butter. I might try it tomorrow with a small batch. 

Had a banana after class.

Dinner:
Chili with half an avocado

C is getting annoying with his snotty remarks when I ask if he is okay after the workout. Sorry you told me you needed to puke so I'm going to check in and make sure you're fine.

Ate half of my paleo chocolate cake in a mug (bowl) with a scoop of coco pb.

Day Seventy Eight 10/28/13

Oh boy. Just wait for it...

Had a banana, banana bread bar and some Justin's for breakfast. Wasn't feeling the greatest and didn't want anything heavy.

So here it is...

Stomach ache. Just like the ones I used to get. Had me gagging in the bathroom. Laying on the floor. Yup. Let's just say I will not eat like I did yesterday ever again. It set me up pretty poorly today. Still don't feel good at all but doing better. Since I couldn't stomach anything, I had some neutral foods to just get some food in me.

Applesauce, cukes and pineapple 

Finally made some lunch around 2:30pm.
Pork with half an avocado
Broccoli and cauliflower
Pineapple 

Had some coco pb and a coconut creme bar before class.

After class, I had a banana.

When I got home, I had some paleo chili. So glad I made that today and it was ready to eat as soon as we got home.

I mixed mine with half an avocado. Delicious. Good thing I like it because I'm probably going to be eating it for my next ten meals.

After, I had two mini dates.

Day Seventy Seven 10/27/13

Coconut creme pie bar, banana bread bar and a hard boiled egg before we left for brunch.

Brunch:
Cinnamon bread French toast

Holy crap this was so good. I could only eat half though then pushed through pieces of a third piece. Wowsa. The place was really cool and we definitely  want to go back. It's right by the gym too so it's perfect.

Eating brunch really threw our schedules off. I was so confused about when to eat again. We went grocery shopping and had some snacks after when we got home. I had a kiwi and a few bites of C's kimchi rice. Also, two scoops of maple almond butter. Not sure what's for dinner yet.

It's super awkward to not eat what everyone else is eating. I guess it's a good thing we don't have friends to go out with. I really wanted to eat paleo but didn't want to be the annoying girl that couldn't eat pizza. Ugh. So I had two slices. It was good but my stomachs just making noises now. I'll have to have a sick mint before bed to calm it...

Day Seventy Six 10/26/13

Breakfast:
Coconut creme pie bar 
Banana with maple butter while watching C play his game 

After the WOD, two banana bread bars, one hard boiled egg, cukes, and some kettle corn.

Now waiting on C decide what's for lunch.

Lunch:
Left over pork, quinoa, peppers&onions mix 
More pork with half an avocado
Black beans
Pineapple 

Yes, I ate all of that. 

Peppermint pattie at 5. Yum. Sick mint.

Dinner:
Pork belly, broccoli and kimchi rice 

Super yummy! Thanks C!! Lots of pork today.

Treat:
Pumpkin gelato

This was a small. The girl really liked me and went way overboard. The guy at the checkout even asked if it was a small or medium and told me I got hooked up when I said it was a small. 

PS- is B alive? 

Crap. Had to pick Clyde's sister up from the airport really late so I got hungry and had a banana creme pie bar and banana bread bar.

Day Seventy Five 10/25/13

Breakfast:
Banana with coco pb
Banana bread bar

This is a lazy persons breakfast aka me.

Lunch: 12:30pm
Tuna with a whole avocado and pickles
Cucumbers 

Had a date right after.

Coconut smoothie around 3:30pm.

My stomach was feeling a little funny before class. I think I used tainted coconut milk. 

After class, I had some coconut pb and my leftover tuna. Had two banana bread bars while cooking. Oh yeah, two dates. Maybe that's why my stomach always hurts. There's a lot of dates in the banana bread bars. Maybe I should go back to just the coconut creme pie bars since those have less than half the dates the bananas have. Eh. 

Dinner:
Pork, peppers, onions, quinoa and pineapple 

Added the pineapple in and it was so good. Didn't even have to use the coconut aminos. 

C dangled the sour patch kids in front of my face while he ate them after dinner. I held back. I can have will power every once in while...

Day Seventy Four 10/24/13

Had two banana bread bars before I took C to the bart.

Breakfast: 8:30am
Sweet potatoes and one hard boiled egg. I ended up eating the banana about an hour later.

Lunch: 12:15pm
Sausage with peppers and onions
Sweet potatoes
Mustard and half an avocado 

Had some coco pb and a coconut creme pie bar around 3:30pm.

Whoops! Never finished this yesterday! 

Dinner:
Two slices 

Had a banana bar and peppermint pattie. Not happy that I'm going to have to eat all those now. Also, we opened the kettlecorn. It is so good. C tried to tell me it was horrible while five handfuls in so I wouldn't try it. I ended up having about five handfuls too. It got better and better with each bite. Guess the rest of October is going to be pretty bad.

For dessert (cause I didn't have enough treats clearly) I made my paleo chocolate cake. I traded a sliver of it to C for a sliver of his Justin's maple butter.

Day Seventy Three 10/23/13

C had a dentist at 10am so I got one last day with him for breakfast. Gonna miss that tomorrow. :(

Breakfast: 9:15am
Steel cut oats with bacon and banana chips
Spiced cider with creatine 

Had two of the coconut creme pie bars. Yum!

Lunch: 1:15pm
Burger with half an avocado 
Broccoli and cauliflower 

Made banana bread Larabars. O...M...G...

They are identical to the Larabars. Omg. So good!!!!!!! I added a little too much water this time (I added a few drops because I used banana chips) so they are super sticky but they are so good!!

They look like poop blobs now but next time I won't make them as sticky. I just smushed them between wax paper so they don't all stick together.

Small boo boo while adding the banana chips. I don't think a lot spilled in but I looked it up and the internet says these things are just iron and won't hurt you. If I die though you'll know why!

Had some coco pb when C got home and a banana bread bar before class.

After class, I had a banana. Once we got home, I had a protein shake washed down with coco pb.

We both weren't that hungry so I mixed up some sweet potatoes with my left over salmon.

Day Seventy Two 10/22/13

BART had limited morning service so I got a few extra hours with C! But that also threw off my breakfast.

Breakfast:
Two coconut creme pie bars (they are really small- you'll see when I bring them to Newport).
A banana

Before I left to pick up our package (thanks, B) I had a hard boiled egg.


Lunch: 1pm
Salmon salad with cukes, broccoli and cashews
Balsamic vinegar and EVOO

Had another bar (sorry, C) and a date. Hopefully I get to Whole Foods today so I can get more dates to make my banana bread Larabars. Also had two handfuls of coco cashews. 

Made it to Whole Foods but didn't make it back in time to make my bars. Will definitely make them tomorrow. Had some crunchy coco pb before class.

After class, C and I shared a banana. When we got home, I had some coco pb with my protein shake and creatine. 

Dinner:
Sausage with peppers and onions
Mustard (avocodo was too hard to eat)

Ugh so full now!

Day Seventy One 10/21/13

Well, C home once again.  He had a meeting at 9:30 so I made a coconut smoothie with creatine quickly.

Lunch:
Leftover pizza

Had some applesauce with cinnamon while C was on a call around 2pm.

Made some coconut creme pie bars. Hope they are good! In the fridge now.

Had some coco cashews and a banana before class.

Dinner:
Burger with half an avocado 
Green beans and a hard boiled egg 

Had two dates and some apple chips after. Tried two small coconut creme pie bars. They are good. I'm so hungry right now but there's nothing I want. Uuuuggggghhhh.

Day Seventy 10/20/13

Breakfast in bed:
Raspberry filled Krispy Kreme. Wish I had another half dozen with me.

Didn't make a real breakfast until 12:30pm. Whoops. And actually, C made it. Thanks, C!
Hash, black beans, eggs, bacon and half an avocado 
Spiced cider with creatine 

Had some coco pb and coco cashews. 

We literally have no food. Thanks to C once again for being the hero and goin and getting us food! He's the best! :)

Dinner:
Two slices from Arizmedi 

And to top it off- froyo! All 13.6oz went into my belly.

Day Sixty Nine 10/19/13

Breakfast:
Had some of C's leftover tortilini and bacon to get some food in me. Had an allergy attack (sneeze fest) during the middle of the night so I was scared I wouldn't be able to go to class today. Was freaking out so I tried to keep my eyes closed as long as possible today. It may not make sense to you but to someone who has had these numerous attacks, it helps. 

After the WOD, I had a kiwi on the ride home. Once home, I had a protein shake with creatine. I would eat a dash of coco pb then chug down as much as I could. This way it was semi manageable. 

After we showered, we went to the market. Got a double chocolatey chip Frap. If B can have coffee, why can't I? Oh wait... Mine wasn't coffee. It was just pure sugar. Oh well. I wanted one so I got it. 

Maria from the Midwest. The cashier asked if we had an accent somewhere. We said we were from NY and she said oh I was thinking somewhere else. C asked where and she said Midwest. Then she said she didn't know she was really tired. It was an interesting situation. 

And we were off to Pleasent Hill to do some errands.

Got our previous in n out for an early dinner.

Then stopped and got Krispy Kreme. Yummmm!! I had a pumpkin spice cake and a maple frosted. Saving my raspberry glazed for breakfast. 


Had some Kung pow chicken for a later dinner when we got back.

Best day ever. Thanks my boo. 

I'll probably eat something else by the end of the night too. I'm a machine. 

Had some coco pb and coco cashews. Then made C and I both some pumpkin tea.

It says Mrs on it. I ate mine with apple chips. So full now.

Day Sixty Eight 10/18/13

BART finally went on strike! Means I get my boo home all day. 

Breakfast:
Sausage and eggs
Kiwi and pear
Spiced cider with creatine 

Had some coco pb around 11am before I left for Whole Foods.

C had a meeting at one so I had a pack of the fig newtons (last one, finally) and some coconut cashews while I waited for him to finish up. Going to make some stir fry when he gets off the call. 

Lunch: 2pm
Chewy meat and vegetables 

The meat was cooked too long so I didn't eat it. So basically I had veggies. Had some chocolate chips after too. Stellar meal.

Hmmm what did I have before our workout?? Oh well I guess we did eat really late so maybe I didn't eat anything else before. Oh wait! I remember! I shared a banana with C.

After our WOD, I had some apple chips and four cashews. Had some coco pb while I made dinner.

Dinner:
Hash, black beans, pork, egg and half an avocado 

Did my second night of cold shower intervals. I do not like them. It gets so cold and I get so bored. Still not sold on them. We shall see if they help soon otherwise I will be done with them! 

Watching the crossfit games right now. Going to have a coconut smoothie soon. Oh yeah, C gave me one of his coconut creme pie bars while I showered. They are so good! Can't wait to make more! Definitely doing a double batch next time. And another flavor.

Rich just passed Ben on the handstand walk in Cinco one. He is unstoppable.
