Day 111: 11/30/13

Had a glass of pumpkin coconut milk and an apple cinnamon kind bar before class.

After class, I ate an apple.

Lunch:
One last meal of leftovers

We finally threw away the rest of the thanksgiving food. I'm so cheap that I'd keep it til it's gone but it was definitely time for them to go. We are both looking forward to not feeling like crap.

Went to the outlets today. Was so disappointed. There was a reebok, nike, under armor, Adidas and new balance outlet and I didn't find one thing. It was depressing. I ate a pumpkin larabar while shopping.

Was going to stop at in n out on the way home but we saw a Buffalo Wild Wings and had to stop. It's one of our places. 

Dinner:
Honey barbecue boneless wings

Had a piece of pumpkin pie when I got home. Now that's one leftover that I'll never throw away.

Day 109: 11/28/13

Thanksgiving!!!!!

Had a mojo bar and half a pink lady before our fun run today. 

After, I ate a banana and a piece of pumpkin bread pudding. I am now waiting for lunch/dinner to be ready. Oh yeah, had a glass of pumpkin coconut milk.

Lunch/dinner:

Holy crap so good.


Put the tree up right before. Best day ever.

Had a second plate later. So full. My stomach is protruding. Can't wait to have another plate tomorrow after Murph. 

Sick mint to soothe the belly before bed.

Day 108: 11/27/13

Grabbed a Madagascar vanilla almond kind bar for the drive to take C. Had to stop at Whole Foods (mad house) after so I didn't get home til later. I had a glass of the mint chocolate coconut milk when I got back. It's so good. I just have to remind myself that it's not milk while I'm drinking it because otherwise I get grossed out. Which really it isn't milk but I feel like it is. It's like when C wants to eat fish but can't get over the fact that it's a fish. It's all in the mind.

Lunch:
Leftover carnitas and butternut squash with guacamole 

Snacks before class:
One date, coco pb, pink lady apple and half a peanut butter perfect bar.

After class, I had a banana.

Dinner:
Torts with pepperoni 

Had a date after dinner and now I'm eating some pretzels. Big day of horrible food for my body tomorrow. I'm sure I'll pay for it on Friday.

Day 107: 11/26/13

Grabbed an apple cinnamon and pecan kind bar. It was out of this world. I loved it.  

Breakfast:
1/4 cup steel cut oats with banana chips
Spiced cider with creatine 

Lunch:
Leftover chorizo, sweet potatoes, black beans and half an avocado 

Just dropped a butt load of money at Trader Joes. Ugh. Already spent money at Whole Foods yesterday and I still have to go back there to get meat tomorrow. There goes $200 bucks on food for a few days. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Someone get me a job. Thanks. 

Wow. I'm still full from lunch and it's 5pm. Very surprising. I had two dates because they are just delicious. Planning on splitting the cranberry crunch perfect bar with Clyde when I pick him up! 

Oh I forgot. I had two Justin's cups when I got back from the store cause I thought I pulled something in my back. I was mad so I just ate two.

Split that bar with Clyde before the WOD. After, I had a banana.

Dinner:
Pork with butternut squash, onions and guacamole

Day 106: 11/25/13

Breakfast:
Greek yogurt with dried raspberries and dried bananas
Mojo bar 

Yuckkkk! Ugh I hate plain Greek yogurt but it has SOoooo much less sugar. I'm sure I'm contradicting it by putting in my dried fruit but it really doesn't come close to the amount of sugar the other ones have. I had to force this down. Hmmm. 

Lunch:
Tuna with guacamole and pickles
Applesauce with cinnamon 

Just a quick lunch before running errands. Got a lot of goodies at Whole Foods. 

I know pretzels are super bad for you but I've been craving them so bad. Ate some on the way to Target. C wants me to get him snack food but I just don't know what to get! I feel like I'm developing a disorder where I'm embarrassed to buy bad food. I literally hide anything that's not primal in my cart. This could be a problem. 

When I got home, I had an apple and half a peanut butter perfect foods bar. Finally caved and bought two. It was pretty good. I saved half for my baby because I know he wants to try one. 

Two dates 

Had some coco pb before class. Finally got the creamy kind. 

Dinner:
Chorizo, sweet potatoes and black beans
Half an avocado 
Chocolate mint coconut milk with creatine 

Now snacking on more pretzels. So depressed. You'll read all about it in the AMRAP blog. Ugh.

Day 105: 11/24/13

Breakfast:
Egg, ham, hash and grapes 
Spiced cider with creatine

Lunch:
Pork belly with kimchi rice
Pineapple 

Snack: Ate some grapes and a Justin's peanut butter cup while skyping Shannon and Bex.

Dinner:
Half a Sunday night pie

Treat: paleo chocolate chip cookie with pumpkin ice cream- wasn't good at all

Shared some pistachios with C after. 



Day 104: 11/23/13

7 year anniversary!! What what!

Woke up and had a mojo bar before class. After class, I had an apple.

Small lunch:
Sweet potato mash with pork and guacamole 

Was planning on having a small lunch then a bigger one before the movie but I fell asleep and we missed the first movie. The power went out last night and it messed me all up. It went out in the bedroom so I thought a fuse blew but then an hour and a half later the whole house lost power. I was so mad. I couldn't sleep. Then I realized it was the whole building not just us so I semi relaxed. So basically I was up from 2-4:30am. It was exhausting. So grabbed a catnap before the movie. We went to dinner first (HORRIBLE) and then the movie. Got such crappy seats cause we rushed to an earlier one so B was right. It was fine though.

Ant dinner:
Carnitas bowl

I opted to turn my burrito into a lettuce bowl and it was so gross. C hated his too. He barley ate any. He had ants crawling all over him. He also mentioned he realized recently that he could poop anytime he sat on the toilet. Interesting.

Saw this on the way to the movies and C wanted me to take a picture.

C was so hungry after the movie so he grabbed Panera. Poor baby. I got my free froyo. Yum.

Day 103: 11/22/13

Starving. Grabbed a mojo bar for the drive to the Bart. When I got back, I finished my leftover tuna from yesterday's lunch.

Lunch:
Ham, veggies, sweet potatoes with cinnamon 
Grapes 

One Justin's after lunch. They are so tiny I almost had two but I held back so I could have one later. Had a peppermint patty later...

Before class, had some coco pb and half a coconut chia seed pudding.

After class, had an apple.

Dinner:
Pork, veggies, sweet potatoes and guacamole

Day 102: 11/21/13

Breakfast:
Mango apricot Greek yogurt and a banana.

Lunch:
Tuna with guacamole and pickles (I already ate half when I remembered to take a picture)
Applesauce with cinnamon 

Treat:

Ended up having two of these. Then had some coco pb. Peanut butter overload. 

Dinner:
Burger with egg, bacon, asparagus and guacamole 
Some yummy seedless grapes  

Have my pumpkin ice cream in the ice cream maker as we speak. Mom sent me the recipe. I literally can't wait to eat it. I had some paleo chocolate chips while I'm waiting.

Had some apple chips after while C ate two of my Justin's. Shame on him. At least he enjoyed them.

Then had a mojo bar after. We were both scrounging around the kitchen to find stuff. It was funny. 



Day 101: 11/20/13

I had my blog almost done yesterday when grandma called and it didn't save. So this will be short and sweet. Meaning no snarky comments...

Breakfast:
Leftover chorizo, sweet potatoes, black beans and guacamole 

Snack: 1pm
Coconut chia seed pudding with raisins 

Lunch: 2:30pm
Two and a half burgers with veggies and guac
Sweet kiwi 

Had a mojo bar before class at 5:30pm. After class, I had a banana.

Day ONE HUNDRED 11/19/13

Breakfast:



Tried this with coconut milk. Didn't like it. I want to get almond milk to try it with. Even eating it plain as a snack would be better. Ended up eating a mango Greek yogurt instead.

Lunch:
Pork with onions, broccoli and half an avocado 

Snacks between lunch and dinner: 
Coco pb
Apple
Mojo bar

Dinner:
Chorizo, sweet potatoes, black beans and guac

Had a bowl of ice cream with chocolate chips after.

Day Ninety Nine 11/18/13

Day Ninety Nine. Still thinking about my options after tomorrow's post. 

Breakfast: 
Mango Greek yogurt with a tangerine on the side

Lunch:
Two burgers with asparagus and guac

Pumpkin pie Larabars!!!!! Seasonal! So good! Ate mine when I got back from errands. Also had some maple almond butter with an apple.

C and I split another seasonal larabar after the WOD- snickerdoodle! Good once again. 

Dinner:
Pork loin with onions, butternut squash and avocado 

Ice cream and coco pb after. Still want more food...




Day Ninety Eight 11/17/13

Woke up and had some horrible quinoa/steel cut oats blend with some gross maple sausage. Just wasn't a great meal and barely ate any of it.
Pear, spice cider with creatine and banana chips 

Lunch:
Bacon cheese fries with black beans 

Last day for our buy one get one free at Starbucks so I got a small gingerbread latte. We both got sick from our drinks (again) but it was worth it. Actually, maybe it wasn't but oh well. 

Had a gingerbread cookie and two slices of pizza for dinner.

Now I'm writing this a day late because I've been contemplating stoping this blog. I can't deal with the constant scrutiny from you two so I think my plan is to make my blog private after day 100. I eat close to paleo throughout the week but have cheat meals on the weekend with C. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to go out to eat and I know he would hate that. Wait, before you think oh just blame me, I'm not. I don't have to eat cheat meals but I want to. I'm at a position where I'm working out so much that I need more food than strict paleo could feed me. So please, stop the criticism. I'm not claiming I'm strict paleo. In fact, I don't tell people I am. End rant.

Day Ninety Seven 11/16/13

There are no pics for today. Things moved way too fast.

Started off with a mojo bar that I strategically placed by my bed last night so I could wake up and eat it right away since we went to the early class this morning. When we got home, I had a yogurt, some coco pb and two slices pepperoni.  C and I shared a chia coconut pudding on the way to the competition. The competition was running late so we ended up staying way later than expected. It was amazing though. They had a paleo food truck so C got some tri tips and rice. I had two pieces of it. We shared a paleo chocolate peanut butter popsicle. It. Was. Amazing. WODpops. Check them out. Then I had another one of those while waiting. On the way home, I ate a tangerine, some cinnamon apple chips and half a mojo bar.  My head was pounding (and still is) from being so hungry and dehydrated. Just a lot going on so didn't have a chance to eat. It's my own fault. When we got home, I took C to the BART so he could go into the city and see his concert while I went to Chipotle. I had a carnitas bowl. It was yum. Then I came home and had some maple almond butter and coconut ice cream with 4 sour patch kids.

Today was a success and disaster all in one.

Day Ninety Six 11/15/13

Breakfast:
Organic pumpkin poptart
Pear 
Spiced cider 

Had the last coconut creme bar before errands. 

Lunch:
Ham, sweet potatoes, veggies 

Had some coco pb and a peanut chip mojo bar after lunch. The mojo bar tasted so different. They used to be my fave but I haven't had that flavor in 95 days. Not sure if this one was just a little off or if they taste different to me now. We shall see next time I have this flavor. 

Still hungry. Had some coconut cashews and an apple before class.

After class, I had a banana.

Dinner:
Hash, eggs, black beans, ham and guacamole

Day Ninety Five 11/14/13

Had a apricot mango Greek yogurt while I drove C to the bart. 

Got home and didn't eat anything else so I had his leftover torts around 10:30am.

Lunch while I skyped Marisa. Two cans tuna with paleo pickles and avocodo. Tangerine. Sweet potatoes 

C got out early!!!!! Thankfully Shannon put up buy one get one free at Starbucks for holiday drinks. Perfect chilly day (64) to walk with a holiday drink and split a cranberry bliss bar.

Dinner:
Pork belly with kimchi rice

With a pic of C filling out his apron so well. 

Had a bowl of ice cream after and a few bites of C's chia seed pudding. 

Ugh hate when I have to go back in and edit! C opened his almond butter so I of course got some scoops of that. Then had two slices of pepperoni.
